mCommerce: 50% of US-user will do it within 24 months

A new report predicts a 50% growth rate for mCommerce in the US: we can see a dramatic change and growth rates to which most of the online shops are not prepared for at this point in time.
This growth will lead to 580 million users shop with their mobile phones are tablets in the US. The report found out that predominately a higher trust in the mobile handsets and the payment opportunities is responsible for that growth.

A Google report shows that “while nearly 75% of users prefer a mobile-friendly site, 96% of consumers say they’ve encountered sites that were clearly not designed for mobile devices. This is both a big problem and a big opportunity for companies seeking to engage with mobile users.”
